Maybe this has already been reported, but it seems like "wrap across frames" is always checked when opening 0.3.6b3.

Moreover, it seems that "Create backup" is always checked.

Tha means for every module you open, a *.ftm.bak file is automatically created, which is just a duplicate of the module you are opening except the string '.bak' is added at the end of the filename. You do not even have to save the file once!

Say, I now have 211 backups created from 822 modules in one folder.

Release envelopes specified in instruments occasionally won't be saved in the module. I haven't been able to find a specific way to trigger this reliably, nor are all release points in the entire module lost when this occurs; sometimes I will open a module I've been working on, and some of the /s will be missing from some of the envelopes.

Restarting the program, replacing the missing /s in the MML parser, re-parsing, and then re-saving will work fine, but it will usually recur after numerous saves.

**EDIT: I see this issue listed as "FIXED" in 0.3.6 b3, and I have found it reported twice already on the forums. It is clearly not fully fixed!

Ugh, I'm able to save it properly on a different machine. Both running Win7-64, 0.3.6b3. This is baffling. But I can at least get back to work now.

virt: The first release envelope bug (in 0.3.5) appeared after a last minute change to make files compatible with older versions. That bug is supposed to be fixed in 0.3.6 beta, but apparently something is still wrong then (that was unknown to me). I haven't seen any problems on my system so far (also Win7-64), but I'll see if I can find any possible causes. It would also be very valuable if you happen to find more information, or if anyone else experiences this.

slash: I'll make that setting work again.

nicetas_c: Backups are forced in beta releases to make it possible to recover files if needed.

I have two requests,
1: I requested this before but I'm so desperate for it I'm begging it be added into Famitracker: A Tuner. The Fine Pitch option just doesn't cut it!

2: An option where if the same note is being played again, the have an EXTREMELY short note cut.
Example:
G-3
---
---
---
G-3

If you add the tuner though, I will be forever grateful.

Say hello to requests.

No.

This is not the Request List.

It runs WAY too slow in WINE on Ubuntu.

Emulating: Windows 7.
Other than that, all default settings.

Using Beta 3: Trying to open a VRC7 .ftm right from the explorer causes FamiTracker to crash.

Also, it appears as though the non-FM synthesis channels in a VRC7 module are way too quiet. Not sure if they're supposed to be like that.

Can't believe this is a bump...

Yes.

Now I have a way bigger bug: When I close FamiTracker, it creates a buzzing sound which many of you might have experienced when your computer is very busy; After FamiTracker is closed, the buzzing sound doesn't go away! I have to reboot my computer to fix that.

Weird, I haven't run into that problem... yet anyways. I have WinXP Pro with SP3.
