NOTE: THIS SOUNDTRACK, ALONG WITH MANY COVERS I DID IN THE PAST, ARE NOT PERFECT DUE TO THE LACK OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF TRIANGLE LINEAR COUNTER IN FAMITRACKER. DO NOT ASK ME IF THE TRIANGLE NOTES' DURATIONS ARE WRONG, THEY ARE ONLY CLOSE ESTIMATIONS.

I WILL MOST LIKELY CHANGE THE ENGINE SPEED TO 120HZ ONCE I GET AROUND WITH SOME MAD METHODS E.G. WAV OUTPUTING, TRACE LOGGING. TELL ME IF ANYTHING HAS CHANGED WHEN I USE A CUSTOM ENGINE SPEED.

IT IS CONFIRMED THAT 900BPM COVERS AND HARDWARE SWEEPS HAVE NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 60HZ AND 120HZ.

I still remembered that day when I completed my first (4-1)P-quality SMB cover...
That day when I painfully laid down masses of Gxxs for those SMB3 Airship theme timpanis...
That day when I was introduced the rational tempo with SMB2 Underground theme...

And today is the day I removed all those instrumentations. Let's disable the Follow-mode, go to the first row of Frame 00 and hit enter to listen to the beauty of 900BPM.

Yes, I am serious.

You keep finding new ways to amaze me. 900 BPM? You are a mad man. Do you have any plans to finish that P-quality cover tutorial? I'd love to be able to emulate skills like this.

I am not a mad man, I am a psycho.

I just noticed that there is a wrong note in Vampire Killer, noise channel, Frame 14. There should not be a closed hat there.

CV1 seems to have a golden rule on noise notes: Snare notes must last for at least a quaver, or a semiquaver if another snare note is followed.

Christ almighty, you would have had to been given a full frontal lobotomy as a child to have the patience to do something like 900 BPM.

None the less, I'm really looking forward to the completion of this. Those Castlevania 3 are going to be incredible.

Yet it DEMANDS way more patience to de-instrumentate the CV3VRC6 Aquarius I made before.

And if I have not lost my sanity by the time this pack is halfway done, Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-Kun should be floating in my mind.

That's awesome; I can't even get my head around your patience in covering something at 900 BPM! :P

I guess that's why you're also using smaller frame sizes than normal, eh?

I just registered on this forum just to thank and congratulate you. Since I first started using FamiTracker, I've tried to rewrite songs from Castlevania and mimic its instruments. I've only recently been able to decently replicate Encounter, which is one of the simplest Castlevania III songs I could have chosen. Doing it this way requires so much commitment and patience and you've done such a great job so far. I can't wait to see more.

I can do it on AVC, just not on Famitracker. The fastest tempo song I did would have to be my Peter Gunn theme. Yeah, nicetas_c is a great musician and he's very talented.

Go to die, keyboard, for underscores won't work. I am using another computer now, and it is too painful to type an underscore just to log in...

Go to die, Doommaster1994, for the cover is not (4-1)P-quality, so you do not acquire the permission to hijack my thread.

It sounds pretty accurate to me besides the modulation. I don't hear any difference. And I apologize, as I never meant to 'hijack' your thread.

"Said I'm more than picky."
---NC

It sounds pretty inaccurate to me even that means I bypass the FDS modulation (which I am now going to learn how to rip the correct ones using FCEUX).

Obviously you have not used NSF2MIDI.

I've used it before but I don't really like it. I use NSFPlay for all of the sound information (Mostly for the envelopes). I also use it to get the wave. I'm not sure if I mentioned it before but I'm not familiar with the modulation effects. But I listened to the NSF and other than the modulation on the FDS channel, it sounds just like the game. But then again, that's just me.
