And there goes the same 101 201 thingy. Again.

This will be your last chance to show up with extremely experimental WIPs/modules-of-'you-build-this-random-whatsoever-up-yourself's. If you do something like this again, the moderators shall have absolute right to remove posts containing such content without further notice. A total of 142 rows with overall random structures is going to pass through no thresholds in the Forum.

Please refrain yourself from creating threads like this one. We have seen it enough. To be honest, this module will sound about the same even it is extended, for the whole 101 201 thing crashes everything. Your song in the thread 'This better?' does show your improvement, but once again it suffers from the pitch bend issue.

Hey, many people liked that song, and seeing how you're dissing everything I do, I'm starting to think that you WANT me banned for a reason other than what you're saying.

For example, seven consecutive posts.

Yeah the whole posting a HUGE amount of times, plus a huge amount of new threads that have songs that are really just like 1-2 frames with some stuff you did in 10 minutes might be why people get annoyed with you. Plus a lot of your posts come across as arrogant or childish, like the one above.

so why not quote some
How's that gonna make me compose better? What you're doing is just plain LOW, mex. I've only really USED famitracker for 13 days! And, unlike what you're trying to do right now, I make people feel good about life. From trying to make a depressed friend of mine feel better, I got into listening to evil music, therefore degrading judgement between happy song and sad song, which also effected my building skill, which composition is a sub-skill of.

EDIT: You know, it's illegal to cyber bully? That's what you're doing.

My PERSONAL life? I don't talk about that, you idiot. NOBODY I've ever seen online has ever DARED to talk about their personal life.

So, you think people are allowed to break the law just because it's open internet? Think again.

You know, I could just get jsr to delete this argument, get some cops to get and locate your IP, and then there would be no more trouble.

Well, you've gotten unlucky, nicetas. Me, a baby compared to you, just turned ALL of these covers of yours to somewhere around 99% accuracy. You were close on them, but I'm closer.

Engine speed determines how fast EVERYTHING is played. Including sound, glitches, graphics, and memory write.

(pwn't)
I mean seriously, stop.

There was also one thread where you had 32 posts. In a single thread.

You want me to leave so badly? Your wish has come, but not in a way good for everyone. FamiTracker wrecked my sound card.

Then maybe we won't have to suffer through these half assed songs you shit out in a matter of ten minutes anymore. I also seriously doubt FamiTracker had anything to do with you messing up your own sound card.

I'm with danooct1, I fail to see how your sound card could be broken by software, unless Famitracker does something crazy with sound drivers, in which case your case wouldn't be unique.

bullshit.

if you're going to threaten to ban someone or remove their posts, at least have a valid reason. flood posting is a valid reason. posting substandard FTM modules is not. the sensible thing to do would be to recommend he keep all his songs to one thread if he plans on posting a lot. that way, no-one is forced to look at them, everybody wins.

i despair for these forums, truly.

I'm with Dave on this, honestly.

First off, kinkinkijkin's a beginner & is in his early teens, so it shouldn't really be expected that he can create every single song that comes to his head like a pro.

Secondly, since kinkinkijkin's so young, don't you think it natural for him to be the least bit excited over the fact that he created some kind of video game music? I mean; teenagers think it's awesome to just listen to NES chiptunes. How about creating some?

Thirdly, I can see how kinkinkijkin got offended by Mex's comments in that massively abusive thread (& as you all know, I'm no stranger to this sort of conflict myself). That said, kinkinkijkin at least acknowledges Mex's work & vice versa in his last thread with his first good original.

On the other hand, I do see a bit of childish behavior with kinkinkijkin's comments geared towards other users, but what do you expect when a teenager who's new to the scene is being treated like crap because of his zealous interest?

He's just a kid (with a great interest in making video game music) & his last original proved his potential; why not nurture it & encourage him to research/experiment a bit more? If it wasn't for the encouragement & help I got from nicetas_c, Dave, tadpole, Doommaster1994 & Rushjet1, I wouldn't be anywhere near as half-decent as I am (& I already have horrible tracking skills as it stands).

Besides, with my experience as a mod in the vNES forums, I know that the project owner still runs the show; if the mods think that someone should be banned or reprimanded, it should be done through JSR's consent. That said, I don't see any need for any reprimands.

Being a kid is not a valid point TechEmporium, I myself am only 15.

I think that we should put together a set of rules to be followed in the forum. Regardless of the quality of work that kinkinkijkin is posting, the amount of posting that he has done is unacceptable.

Like what Dave said, if he wants to post alot, he should keep it in one thread, as to not fill the forum with unimportant starter project threads.

How about trying to use a chord progression? Throw a bass line in.
Also, do you remember me saying not to leave channels on at full volume? You're doing it again... it doesn't sound good at all.

So do I.

However, these instigations MUST STOP. This ridiculousness between kinkinkijkin and "the world" has to be put to a screeching halt before things get out of control.

Kinkinkijkin, I am glad you are so enthusiastic about this software, but you have broken some forum etiquette along the way. However, the response to your songs could have been dealt with a whole lot better than this.

I agree with whoever it was that said that there should be rules for posting content. That I agree with.

Thank you tadpole for being helpful to kinkinkijkin, and also thank you TechEmporium. I bet with more patient and level-headed people, kinkinkijkin can crank out some wicked tuneage within a month and even POSSIBLY be accepted here as one of our own.
