I made a great song, and when I converted it to NSF and played it in Nestopia, but it got read wrong. For some reason, it read everything at quarter speed but played effects at full speed, and Nestopia was running full speed, so I beleive that it was FamiTracker. Also, FamiTracker terminated itself as soon as the conversion finished and windows said that I "chose to end the unresponsive program, FamiTracker.exe".
It exports fine for me. If it crashed when you exported then there's some kind of bug that triggers on your system for some reason, and those kind of problems are always very hard to find. Does it happen every time you try to export?
That always happens to me with Nestopia too. It's always done that even with older versions of famitracker. It plays it about a quarter the normal speed like kinkinkijkin said. I never used Nestopia much, and there are better NSF players anyway, but it would still be nice to have this fixed...
I haven't had any problems with Nestopia & playing exported NSF files. However, I have had some problems exporting NSFs when the total size of the file would reach an increment of 32 kB - 10 kB (in other words, I had problems exporting NSFs unless their total size wasn't equal to either 22 kB or 54 kB).
That's why I usually try to make NSF files either over or under those sizes.
