I like it a lot better with the samples added. Gives it a fuller feeling, and makes it catchier in my opinion.

Both pretty good. Imma go with the sample-free one. The sampled one sounds.... strange. I'm just not used to hearing marching band snares being played as kicks while it's surrounded by 8-bit sounds.

I like the DPCM version a lot (for the same reason as danooct; ear-popping fullness,) but I can recommend a slight change in the percussion...

Check out the attachment & see how I changed it up, moviemovies1. All I did was use a lower note for your snare in the noise channel while alternating your kick & snare notes with Z00 & Z7F effects. I feel it does your song a slightly greater justice.

Oops; sorry about that. I just corrected it now.

I wonder how I mixed up the two... Maybe because of the round creatures they use in their avatars. :P

That lower snare support was actually meant as a open Hi-Hat

I mean that what you may have thought was snare support was open hi hat

You know; you could have edited the last post instead of double-posting.

But yeah; I hear you. I don't know why you'd do an open hi-hat at the same time as a snare hit, though (then again, there isn't much room to play with when you're dealing with only 2 channels for percussion).
