As title says, version 0.3.5 is now out [url=http://famitracker.shoodot.net/files/ft_v035.zip]here. Special thanks to all beta testers.
Please delete all betas now because files used with this version is not compatible with earlier betas. (Had to do this in order to allow older versions open new files.)
You may notice that FDS is louder here than in the betas, this is not beacuse it goes to 31 now but because I've measured the output volume from a real FDS and adjusted the levels accordingly. Same goes for MMC5, the square channels are a little louder than the internal ones.
[u]Known bugs:[/u]
The effect 300 doesn't work for turning off auto-portamento in VRC7, but 100/200 can be used instead.
Auto-arpeggio jumps two octaves above actual octave.
Sxx fails if there is a note on the same row when exported to NSF.
Oh, no, did I find the first bug? In VRC7, when you use the 3xx command for portamento, the volume ADSR isn't retriggered for each note. Good so far. But when you turn the portamento off via the 300 command, the ADSR envelope still isn't retriggered. So your notes get quieter and quieter until nothing can be heard. If you use the 100 or 200 command instead of 300, everything works fine.
Hah yeah, I'm sure there are a couple of bugs left so there might be a new bug fixed release in a few days.
Portamento on VRC7 is generally working bad btw, because of the way the interface works. (At least I couldn't get it to work well) However it should reset the ADSR envelope so I'll fix that (seems to work when exported to NSF). I found a quick fix: use 100/200 to turn off the portamento and it'll work again.
Doommaster1994: From the N106 thread: "It's gonna happen after the 0.3.5 release, probably,".
Well the only change I've seen is that the FDS channel has 32 volumes. But that's good enough for me for now. When the N106 comes out I'll do Rolling Thunder.
If I check [File] --> [Configuration] --> [MIDI] -> [Auto arpeggiate chords] and press more than one button at a time, the arpeggio goes one octave higher.
disable midi auto-arpeggiate for now. the bug was introduced due to a last minute quickfix of midi input (middle C now inputs C-3 again like 0.3.0, rather than C-5 in the 0.3.5 betas.)
