Hey. I'm gonna try to port the replay code to Turbografx-16 (PC-Engine). So NES music can play on there. It would be kinda funny.

Not sure why I'm posting about it, but wish me luck.

I've actually heard about it, but didn't know who was going to do it.

I hope my code don't discourages you (I know it's ugly and CPU intensive, heh), but I'm working on a completely new version. It became to hard to maintain even for me.
So if you have any suggestions on new features you'd like to see or things that should be different, just tell me.

Anyway, I wish you good luck. It will be fun to hear the result. =)

Yeah I'm starting to get tired of him. Removed his messages as it didn't have anything with this thread to do.

I'm not sure, but it seems the PC engine has programmable waveforms so maybe it's possible to make the sound authentic.

Yeah, it should sound correct except that I don't plan on handling DPCM.

I forgot that I posted this and didn't know I had replies.

I haven't made any audible progress yet, but I've been coming to grips with PC-Engine coding and it seems doable.

hey... this would be interesting if you added the ability to change waveforms to whatever you want - that way you can basically track and tweak songs for the TG-16 using famitracker - here i've been waiting for someone to come out w/ a TG-16 tracker... maybe this will suffice until someone actually does
