You can post your own and ask for some, this topic is for posting FTMs containing an effect that is done manually. These will be for teaching purposes.

That actually sounded similar to part of an explosion effect from the Atari 2600 game Yar's Revenge.

Anyways, here's an example of fading in & out with the volume column, as well as adjusting the duty cycle & pulse width of both 2A03 & VRC6 square channels, respectively.

Echo/Delay thing I try to fit in to my songs, but never end up doing so.
fill a channel up (eg. Square 1)
then copy it and put it in the next channel (eg. Square 2) one note down. I made a ftm scince i suck at explaining things.

I discovered something that I can't demonstrate, but I can explain!
Echo out effect. Works best with FDS sawtooth and all square/triangle.
1 space between notes:
C-4 F - --
--- 5 - --
C-4 F - --

2 spaces:
C-4 F - --
--- 5 - --
--- 3 - --
C-4 F - --

3 spaces:
C-4 F - --
--- 5 - --
--- 3 - --
--- 1 - --
C-4 F - --

4 spaces:
C-4 F - --
--- 5 - --
--- 3 - --
--- 1 - --
--- 0 - --
C-4 F - --

I wouldn't exactly call it a true echo effect, as the volume of an actual echo in an individual channel would play the 2nd note at a decreased volume. For example:

3 spaces:
C-4 F - --
--- 5 - --
--- 3 - --
--- 1 - --
C-4 C - --
--- 4 - --
--- 2 - --
--- 1 - --
C-4 9 - --

And so on (that said, you'd also need to adjust the tempo).

Mine sounds like a cave echo-out. Useful for dance/trance music. And the second note in mine was actually just the next note. I used C-4 as an example.
