On most songs, the Gxx effect works fine. But on one song I was making with Famitracker 0.3.5 beta using VRC6, the Gxx is ignored completely. The problem was not fixed by switching to MMC5. Why?

if it's any consolation i remember having this problem a while back, though IIRC it happened randomly and wasn't consistently a problem. needs looking into anyway.
Then if it's an intermittent problem, could it be based on the file's size? Because I've encountered several problems that only occur whenever a project file is filled with songs up to a certain file size (for example, I wasn't able to compile NSFs of my latest original soundtrack until I either broke the 24 kB & 54 kB barriers, or if the files were just under that size).
