Hey all!
This took a little over an hour to make. I did a VRC7 cover of Michael Jackson's Bille Jean. It's not really meant to sound like the Sega Genesis version, but it sounds similar. There is no pitch bending because I don't know how to work the pitch bends.
Enjoy!

Which notes do you want me to do for you? I know how to do that in the latest beta (therefore the pitch bending method might be changed in the next version).

Also, it looks like the song is incomplete by looking at the pattern editor.

All of the notes from the song where he does a pitch bend. If I could do it, I would do it in a flash since I know the whole song but when I looked at the Wiki it said you couldn't do a note slide with the VRC7 chip. The song is complete. Maybe it could use some minor editing though.

The first note of the baseline is an octave too high, and that ruins the song for me.

Well that can easily be changed. When I played back the real song, it sounded right to me.

To pitch bend up at a slow speed, this is a possibility: --- -- - 1 01
And that pitch bends up slowly until you tell it to stop in some way.

EDIT: Down slow is : --- -- - 2 01

And to stop the bend with --- -- - 1 01, use --- -- - 1 00 on your next note.

As a matter of fact, all the pitch bending, vibrato, sweep-up/down, etc. effects in the effects column can be stopped by setting their value to 00.

However, for the volume slide effect (Axx,) you also have to use the volume column or your instrument's volume settings to bring the channel's volume back up to normal levels.

Well, I can't see much of it because a game TechEporium lead me to put my graphics card in 8-bit mode. 8-bit colour, 8-bit resolution, and it even screyed up a grey to be blue.

Sorry about that. My computer's graphics card didn't suffer this, though.

Well I looked at the Note Slide thing on the Famitracker Wiki and I thought it said something about note slides not working on the VRC7.

Not on the extensions. The VRC7 is an expansion chip, meaning it just adds more audio channels.
