Credits go to:
- JSR for creating FamiTracker
- Kurobit & Rushjet1 for their work on DPCM triangle

The objective of this project is to compose a song wih 127 frames (128 frames will make the file unreadable) and make its size go over 200KB while not using the 'change all' feature. It is designed for intermediate composers to learn more advanced skills as well as present all of you my ultimate piece of composition worth nearly seven minutes of pure awesomeness.

EDIT: Thread ID is 1000 x_x
EDIT2: Added credits
EDIT3: 78KB reached. Estimated final file size: 242KB
EDIT4: 91198B (89.0KB) reached. Estimated final file size: 257381B (251.3KB)
EDIT5: 104778B (102.3KB) reached, 50 frames reached. Noise channel effect column fx2 expanded. Revamped complete post. Estimated final file size: 266136B (259.9KB)
EDIT6: Removed download at current post. Download is now available in the third page.
EDIT7: 127784B (124.8KB) reached. Estimated final size: 289796B (283.0KB)
I don't know what happened...
EDIT8: This project is paused.

I really like the idea of this project... and I think some people could learn a lot from it.

beginners: take a look at his ftm. This is how to get the NES to sound really good!

(except I didn't like the clicky part where it rapidly changed between 25% and 75% duty)

Really, REALLY good! I think it's safe to say that I know a good amount about this program, however, I (as well as others) am going to look at this project as not only a good outlet on how to use different effects, but as something that displays melodic savviness, and is very appealing to listen to.

I agree with Triflake; I can DEFINITELY learn a few tricks with the effects used here.

nicetas_c; you should set up your own site & display your works on it (if you don't already have one).

Very nice and inspiring piece of work.

Also, a question: How many rows per pattern must a 127-pattern song have for the tracker not to freeze while playing it?

Any.
There are more random freezes in FamiTracker, though.
Also, updated new version.
