Hmm, I'm curious as to what kind of chaos a vst plugin for Madtracker / from FamiTracker would create. Will there probably be a vst plugin that derives from (or at least includes) famitracker's instrument editor?
There is one called "Peach" (I'll see if I can find the url again), but it only has presets from [or around] the square wave (which excludes the all-so-powerful triangle, noise, (and a good experimental section) the mysterious DPCM formats). If a vst was ever considered, these other sound formats would have to also be included.
You know what, this sounds like a good idea for the requests section, but it has nothing to do with famitracker... just the sound and instrument editor... so I guess it will have to go here instead of the request/bug section :D

Thanks for the suggestion. A VST plugin has been suggested before, but unfortunately I'm too busy just working on the tracker.
But I don't say it's impossible since the VST devkit seems to be free. There are a chance that I can take a look at it if I get some time over.
Also remember the source is available, maybe there are other programmers who are able to do it?
Hmm, I don't really know anybody that uses MadTracker, honestly... other than Binaerpilot... should I ask him if he's interested? You have to admit, that would be pretty cool if a VST plugin works out :D!
