The 5 notes are there, it's the frame skipping from the odd tempo causing the problems, this is why I'm adjusting tempos people. :/

I fixed it regardless, along with so many other problems that were found by other youtube viewers. First post is updated.

augh that tempo thing sucks! so technically just about every song cheats tempo-wise :P

After listening to the FTM file for awhile, I can say that Wily Stage Boss and Proto Man's shop have really grown on me. Granted, the Wily Stage Boss theme's intro is pretty obnoxious, but I really like the core melody now that I've gotten a better listen. I've always liked Proto Man's Shop theme somewhat since I'm extremely vulnerable to minimalistic jazz themes, but it's turned out to be really catchy in its own right compared to the whole soundtrack.

Credits theme is still very odd, though. I just don't get it. :>

Good job, again, tssf.

The Mega Man Network has released a track list with composers listed

EDIT:

That credits theme is nothing more than a showcase of non-standard 8-bit effects. It has some structure, but the feeling I get from it is the ending of a Final Fantasy game, not a Mega Man game. Same with Mega Man 9 tho. Those two ending themes just don't really match the Mega Man ending "style". (Tho I think the star-field is what made me think of Final Fantasy 4 when I saw it) ..can the nes even do a starfield like that without flickering like crazy?

Not to mention their songs are like 2 to 3 times longer than classic nes ending themes.

- It would be cool if Capcom use the MM2 title music, much like they did with MM4 for its ending.

I was actually thinking about that, Fx3. They haven't done that since MM2.

Rushjet1: Cool, I didn't know the nes could do that (in a non-demo way, anyways) It just felt like the ending was like, the credit roll from FF4.. Here:

It's almost direct rip, despite the whole Star Wars text scrolling.

Played through the game again recently, and probably the most flagrant disregard for the 2A03 limitations that I noticed is that using an M-tank disrupts absolutely nothing in the music. They did it infinitely times better in 9 where it interrupted both squares. Oh well, the game was fun to play even with those inconsistencies.

Yea I noticed that when IGN released their pre-game videos, how the sound effects weren't cutting out the music at all. I even mentioned that in the readme of the NSF (the one not distributed on this site). The only reason I can think of is the Wily Castle just before Wily Stage 5... the effect of the music would have had much less of an impact should the music have been cut out by the sound effect of the line going up to the station.

I chose to look at it this way: This game is using two 2A03's at once. Despite how impossible that is, it's the only explanation.

I was looking for the FTM of Megaman 10 for the Blues' Shop song.

Insanely great work, by the way.
