Thank you, Archj. And I apologize if I've come out a bit too strong on you, GlidingSoul, but there's much for you to improve on, you want to improve & therefore you should have the will to do whatever it takes to improve.
Hell; when I started off here, I made my own OST, but realizing that my style needed improvement, I decided to make a cover of Clubbed To Death (albeit a very inaccurate one). It doesn't need to be 100% accurate; it only has to be as accurate as you can possibly make it in order to understand how the song affects your mood, how the entire song flows & how the lead, bass & percussion notes blend together.

The pretzel joke was funny but next time, do it short.
I got an idea, take any of my tracks, and change the lead ( Square 1 and 2 ), and it may somehow help me.
Besides your last post was HARSH and LONG.
I don't hat the tracks, GlidingSoul; I know I sounded too harsh in that post, but if you want to learn music, now's the best time & I can tell you from experience that it's not as easy as diving into making your own songs first thing. The tracks are, as far as I'm personally concerned, experiments in sound that you can definitely use to learn from (i.e.: what did people like or dislike about it, etc.).
Like I said before, nobody's perfect (you'll definitely see this in my music; I admit that I'm not a pro). So don't feel disparaged about my over-exaggeration with the pretzel joke.
I'll see what I can do to demonstrate at least some kind of music theory. Give me some time & I'll see. Of course, other members are more than welcome to manipulate the songs here if it will be of some help.
EDIT: Check out the modification to your To The Party track; I've changed the 2A03 square notes a bit so that they'd complement the triangle, I've extended the closing drum beat & I've adjusted each channel's volume in such a way that the song would allow for some discord to be heard, while other discord points are drowned out by the lead tune (a simple law of physics in wave propagation). Also note my removal of your arpeggio effect in instrument 00 (because that was a major source of discord that threw off the entire song).

Short 'n' Silly's a major improvement, GlidingSoul. You've got the lead channels timed properly with the percussion & bass, while reducing the amount of discord significantly (even though there's still some discord in your song, it's being used in a more tolerable manner). Much of the notes are harmoniously paired now & blend together in a more proper way than your previous experiments. The only issue here is the pitch of the square channels' notes, but it's not too major to consider it as excessive discord.
You've also set a more comical mood to the song (with the hint of adventure) & it progresses very well; I can picture it being used in a children's nes game. You've got the basics of theory down to it at least 85% & you've set a mood to the song with decent flow & syncopation; base your future songs off of the theory you've demonstrated here & your works will definitely improve.

It made my ears bleed at least. It doesn't have any structure at all, and it sounds like a "test-ftm" to try out different kinds of sounds etc., not like a song.
I'd like to see how you'd re-arrange Lost Dimension.

That pretzel song was nothing more than a complete experiment in my opinion. If I were to make a pretzel song, I'd make a cover of Happy Birthday & make heavy use of the noise channel & coughing sound samples. :P
I'll have a look at Lost Dimensions a bit later (it looks like it needs a complete rewrite of the square channels, in my opinion).
