As two of my favorite Castlevania 1 songs, (next to Wicked Child, Black Knight, and Voyager) I decided to do a little cover, basically just sounds like the NES, so, nothing too special. Tell me if there is anything I should work on or improve, i'd really love to hear it.
Post your own stuff. Did your friend make that FTM/NSF/whatever? Oh cool. Let them post it with their own account. Failure to do so will result in the FTM being taken down and the thread being locked.
Needless to say, you should never, ever post anything someone else made and subsequently claim it as your own. This constitutes violation of the copyright law and will result in the offending thread being deleted and your account being banned.
I know reading the rules requires some time out of your life that you don't feel like spending, but we have them for a reason. Even though the original FTM is 4 years old (well, it doesn't really matter how old it is), it's still not a good idea to repost it without adding anything to it and not citing the original source.
Alright, I'll lay my cards on the table before this gets locked. For a while now, this place has been quite run down in my eyes, except for a couple really talented a great composers and programmers (from whom I learned a lot) who make me stay (hmm maybe it's time to get into the IRC channel more), despite the fact that it's prety much a constant brace for impact situation, waiting for some shit like this to happen.
I just can't imagine why anyone would register here, let their account rot for almost a year without the intent of using the program (at least I assume so) at all, or if they do have the intention they start stealing like this. It's not like there's a billion people into this so someone's going to know where that .ftm is from, and their voice will not be masked by a huge crowd of people who believe you. It's like, what's the point of wasting your time stealing and trying to appeal to a couple dozens of people? Just go out for a hike or something.
Why would anyone steal stuff and claim it as their own? It just doesn't make sense to me. It's also really disrespectful to whoever created the stolen works.
This kind of people should just get lost. May sound rough, but yeah, that's how it is.
