Well, I have time to work on this now, but my interests have moved elsewhere and I'm already working on something else (not for this project). So, here's the tiny bit of Mystic Cave Zone 2-Player I have done. I might get back to this in the future.
Also poodlecock, please change my license for both this and my Sonic 3 VRC7 contributions to...
Done. I have added Linker2A03's Hidden Palace and Shywolf's Mystic Cave.
There should be a template because of new DPCM samples but I'm too lazy to add it myself =P

The songs which don't loop (like, for example, Mystic Cave 2P) have a C00 because when I export NSF, I don't remove the songs. So I put a C00 to stop playback so that the player moves to the next song.

Nothing much. I'm just (about 90%) done with Sunset Hill and made Casino Night's bass and percussion.
Template has not changed, 16b template is fine.
