If they sound too similar then, perhaps. I think I've said this before, but I'll accept multiple covers of one song as long as they're unique enough. I think that Warheart's and Bl4ck_M0on's styles are different enough to qualify for separate covers.

Aquatic Ruin is, if a bit unoriginal, a good song. I think you'll do great on it.

I split the channels already. I gave up when I listened to them individually because there's a lot of stuff going on in there. I think I'll wait until more songs are posted so I can have a nice variety of patches to choose from (or I may start soon, it depends on my mood).
Also, I just noticed that post. Hahah, silly me. :D

I actually have a 2A03 cover that's not on here. Maybe this would be a good place to put it.
EDIT: This is not a new version of the FT module. This is a sample set of covers from Sonic 2.
EDIT 2: It's a good song, but it's not very interesting. I felt like with a bit more instrumentation, Nakamura could have made the song that much better.

I guess I'll try to get creative with it then. I remember taking Special Stage on the S3K project because the rhythm was really cool. Aquatic Ruin has the same sort of rhythm.

You can use in_vgm for Winamp. It's a little unstable and crashes really often when muting channels though, but it does its job.
I'll go for accuracy as always, but I might take some liberties since I have an extra FM channel. Might add some harmonies on the accompaniment or something.
