Not familiar with the original, but decent composition. Though idk, seems sort of like a relatively bland song to cover. You know? But that's just me. Nice percussion.

The SEGA CD was an add-on to the Genesis. Not very successful, but it did generate enough to keep SEGA afloat, I believe.
