You guys should also try this:

1. start Famitracker
2. Go to File->Export text... and save it
3. Open the file in a text editor
4. Change the number to 32 where it says 'EXPANSION'
5. Save the file
6. Import the edited text file in Famitracker

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?

Seriously, is the SunSoft 5B expansion near to its completion or what? This is amazing!

Oh, just to add, glad to see you made use of that easter-egg song in my Frost Man module. I have to say the noise was improvized but doesn't matter.

This is a nice demonstration! [Now jsr or someone who knows about all of this should pop in and say how S5B support is going].

EDIT: This gave me an idea, but I bet it won't work. Anyway this is cool!

EDIT2: Okay, I made a test module and seems that note cut won't work on Square 1 channel. and the effects aren't implemented.

Thanks!
At the mo, it's pretty stupid to compose longer songs since there's stuff that are buggy or simply doesn't work at all.
And the fact that you can't save FTM files makes it even more stupid to spend too much time with this expansion chip.
Maybe small doodles but that's pretty much it.

LOL, I also have all the voice samples, even Wily saying "NOW THE WORLD IS MINE!" high pitched, which makes laugh when listening to it. I was too lazy to edit them in Audacity, so I decided to use your samples instead :P

BTW, here's another test file.
IMPORTANT: The effect commands won't work immediately, you have to re-input them...

WHO SAYS!?

EDIT2: I won the contest of making the best S5B module. You can go home now...
Ummmm... Seriously, stupid SunSoft+Mr_Master fun in the module. You will likely be able to recognize the original track behind it.

LOL I remember that one, it's kinda cool, but I still won't change my opinion.
You can still make that one work with MMC5 or something :P

FYI, you can also just open 5B files no problem, so you could have just uploaded the FTM.

EDIT: OH... RIGHT... YOU can't save, now can you? (sadistic chuckle).

Just one question: How do you make noise and how do you determine the pitch?

EDIT: Nevermind. I got a hi-hat style pitch by decreasing the noise value down to -127, which is what I was looking for. You can play around with those negative values to see what it does.

you have to compile from source.

Remove lines 940-943 in FamitrackerDocs.cpp before doing so.
