But you forgot to add capability of saving S5B instruments and changing to S5B itself! D=

Right, next thing you'll ask me is to fix all the bugs in the emulation. </3

Anyway, it's updated. You can now select the 5B from the dropdown menu and load/save instruments (Though they won't work with the official version)

Impressive! Thanks for that!

What this also means is that the modules created with this can actually hold many songs without having to hack the importing text file. That would have been pretty tedious.

Actually, there is another undocumented glitch that I've been holding off on which already allowed more than 1 song in any given unsupported module. And Slimeball, thank you very much for this! And when I say that, I really fucking mean it!

Also, do you mean that the modules or the instruments will not be compatible with the real version?

EDIT 2: I see you mean the instruments. That actually scared me for a moment because I thought other people couldn't read my modules! D=

EDIT: No, I'm not asking you to fix the bugs. That's jsr's job, and he's probably fixing them now as we speak! =P

Whoa! This is awesome!! Just random or silly question, forgive me:

Can this be exported as a file which can be inserted into NES? Like can it be use for NES?

It it isn't, it's fine; I could use this for music. ^^;

(I tried to import text, but it said "Unregonized command file 1: void" )

It's not possible because that was made using a hack to enable the unfinished SunSoft 5B expansion. You would have to wait until FamiTracker actually supports that expansion if you want to create any sort of file related to NSFs and stuff.

Also, 0.4.3 beta doesn't let you enable this expansion. You must use 0.4.2 to import text and be able to use it, but bear in mind that, because of its incomplete state, the emulation and interface of this expansion is very buggy and you will most likely have a hard time trying to make any modules with it.

But if you like a challenge, try using the envelope generator and noise at the same time (in different channels, of course).

You could give me the file and I'll work for like 2 weeks straight to convert it to mml by hand

I'll do that when I'm done with space harrier. I want to hear it on a "real" 5B. (as does jrlepage)

Yeah. I hope my faux-5B cart is fixed by then (it broke three days ago). It probably will be though, the issue doesn't seem that difficult to solve, and I'm confident jarhmander and I will find the source of the problem and the solution soon enough.
