1. You can clone the instruments that already exists (you can use my frost_man_5b.txt, template.txt or any other file with at least one 5B instrument).
How to clone instruments:
a) Right click on the 5B instrument and then choose 'Clone instrument'
or
b) Click on the 5B instrument you want to clone and then go to Instruments->Clone instrument
2. Like Mr_Master said, you have to set the instruments before importing the .txt file. I've uploaded a template which should hopefully be easy to understand...
Take a look at what 'MACROS' and 'INSTRUMENTS' does...
I prefer method 1, since it probably takes a lot less time than method 2, but idk...
Hope this helps...

1. Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (Or any other C editor)
2. Load the FamitTracker source folder
3. Find FamitrackerDocs.cpp in whatever directory may pop up
4. Delete lines 940-943.

5. Find Soundgen.cpp in whatever directory may pop up
6. Ctrl+f namco
7. completely replace the code between the parentheses with TRUE (don't delete the parentheses)
8. compile.
(NOTE: THE DirectX C++ LIBRARIES NECESSARY FOR GRAPHICS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE SOURCE. YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THESE YOURSELF. I DON'RT REMEMBER IF YOU DO THIS FIRST OR RIGHT BEFORE YOU COMPILE, BUT THEY ARE NEEDED FOR THE BUILDING TO WORK PROPERLY. IT FAILED THREE TIMES BEFORE I REALIZED WHAT WAS WRONG).

Fine, thanks for the info. But I have encountered two problems:
1.- I am running Microsoft Visual Studio 2012(trial version) and I can't seem to find the compile option. Also, I think Visual C++ is somehow installed in my computer but I wasn't able to find it, so I'll reinstall.
2.- Once I get the DirectX C++ libraries, what do I do with them? Should I install them as you say or do I have to do something else?
Again, thanks for the info you provided, and any further help would be much appreciated!

N163 FIX + SUNSOFT 5B = SO. EPIC!!! *collapses from another heart attack*
But you forgot to add capability of saving S5B instruments and changing to S5B itself! D=
EDIT: My Sunsoft 5B docs

I was thinking the same when I uploaded the song. It was like:
"Hmmmm... I think something like this is worth for the 5B DemoCompo. I may not be doing well by uploading this song" and then I made a thread for it, and ruined my chances of using it, but still, reusing the same old module would be anti-ethical, in my opinion.
Thanks for the compliment, and looking forward to see your cover!
