jsr basically told me "no" to my question in the bug report thread.
Well, multi-chip is still technically unsupported (and as such you will receive no official support for any issues to do with using more than one expansion at a time). Except now, you get to pick the exact volume balance between APU and expansion... But every expansion is enabled at the same time in the mixer... And you can enable more than one expansion at a time if you know how. :p
