I like these a lot; there's lots of room for expansion in both of them. If you find yourself stuck on something that you'd like to work on, the best advice that I can give to you is not to force it but rather take it as a casual event; there's no pressure for you to do anything.

Similarly, taking the time to understand how to transpose a musical idea in your head to any other medium can be tricky; often those ideas aren't fully formed by the time you want to write it down/play it/whatever and can't be realized because the practical aspect of it doesn't immediately fit into what you're forcing it. To counter this, taking the time to fully understand what you want to write down can make a drastic improvement to the ease with which you can track.

Just my two cents. I know you weren't asking anything from anyone but I figured that sharing some of my own discoveries may help you and whoever else happens to be reading this in some way or another.

All that aside, I covered one of your little songs and continued another how I saw fit. Nothing major, but, again, I really liked them and wanted to show you some how.

Well, the thing is, I have a nice idea in my head, and it comes out somewhat satisfactory, but then, after working on it for a while - Just kinda picking it up maybe every day or so when I'm not doing anything, and it just ends up changing the song too drastically. But those covers sound way better than the originals :D

Well, I replaced my system sounds with 8-bit ones.

Here's the rendered .WAVs, as well as the FTM in case anyone else wants to do this. Just go to Control Panel > Sound > Sounds tab and replace the sound entries with the files that are named specifically for the sound they are to replace.

A little arrangement I found while looking around MuseScore's website and I figured I could make a nice loop of it.

Some stuff I probably won't get around to finishing.

If you want to know what these are before downloading:

Donkey Kong Land- Kremlantis is exactly what it says. It was made shortly after I did the Temple theme from the same game.

Donkey Kong Country is a cover of Aquatic Ambiance in MMC5 with a drum beat and stuff.

Hi there. I'm a complete scrub. No idea what I'm doing. Hope this is the right thread (sorry if not).

Put this together with complete guesswork in about four hours. It's a WIP cover of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOxUSuHDnq4

Any good at all? Potential?

It sounds pretty good. If only someone made a port of Pokemon X and Y for the NES. XD
