It's good that you discovered that this is possible. However, I must inform you that this technique has been in use for at least two decades. It's nothing new, but it still sounds bloody excellent.

Yes it is possible. The fixed arpeggio mode was made precisely for this reason.

EDIT: Edited version with the fixed arpeggio mode for instrument 2.

these casio instruments were spot on. (I actually own a pt-87, which has the same instruments.)
I might consider doing a cover of unterlanders hymwa using these.
Now, here a couple of sierra covers in vrc6 (mainly as konami did that disastrous nes port of kq5). the songs are: for your this only from leasure suit larry, main theme from space quest, and balad of freddy farkas from freddy farkas: frontier farmisist.
fun fact: Charles martonette (of Mario fame) played one of the bad guys in space quest 6.
