Though it seems that jsr believes that making new instruments is a good way to go.

Ooooh. So that's what you mean when you give me this links the first time. ^^; Still "Engrish" ^^;

I see...So...can you explain me this in a simple way that even a "new-at-english" person like me can understand in the links?

Well, it's good in the way that it works and can be used right now for writing songs. Maybe being able to set the position for each wave would be better, but I still don't see the advantage exactly? You'd still need to copy the entire instrument to a new wave position if you'd want to use wave macros for example, where you don't know which wave are used at each moment and can't optimize the positions.

However, another option which is planned but not yet implemented is a way to automatically assign the position depending on the channel number. That way the user won't have to care about the position at all, but that only works when the number of channels is less than the number of available positions in the wave RAM (obviously).

Uhhh...I'm lost....

(Or, instead, have a option that it should be manual or automatic assign the position depending on the channel number.)

Hello! Since you have so much trouble with English, and as you stated on a previous post, you are from Spain, would you like me to synthesize and translate to Spanish all the main ideas behind these posts?

There's also "NSF Importer", but I don't know if it can open FME-7 nsfs.

The NSF importer can't open either N163 or 5B NSFs since it's based on version 0.3.7. It also has other limitations, but it's still useful for other modules.

If you are confused about 5B, it's the true name of the FME-7. As far as I'm aware, FME-7 is the name of the mapper of the chip.

Once again, don't worry about bumping this thread. You can do whenever you want since you created it.

Well, I forgot to say that it can import N163 and 5B NSFs but the expansion will not be there, so only the internal channels will show up. It can still be used to rip DPCM from those games.

I hate this dummy internet I'd gotted. Posted: 2013-04-14 05:32 Reply | Quote

Ah. I see.

Well, I use the NSF Export, and it does it to mostly all...except the NAMCO one, since it only support the smaller one. But I DID got the DPCM sound one! :D

......................................Making music is getting funner, is there a cool tricks to make a special sound in the normal mod? Like the 2-square similarities sound like from Crystalis?

That's just two 25% pulses played in unison with detune, if you're referring to the overworld theme. Attached is an example (not meant to be exact).

But...what's the difference with the first and second digits on that effect?

Along with the "F" and "Z" one?
