I don't know why, but FDS on my computer plays an octave higher on 0.3.8 than it does on 0.4.0. And yes, I hex-edited my FDS 0.4.0 files to work on 0.3.8.

First, it's explained here: http://famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=3210&pid=39035#39035

Second, don't hex edit files and expect support. There are several reasons I changed the file version number, this is one of them. If you change it back then you are on your own!
