Hey, I'd love to hear this track I made on your gear!

One thing though: the mixing got messed up when I exported to an nsf. The VRC6 stuff became much louder than it was in FamiTracker. I went in and manually lowered all the volume values for those channels as a hacky fix but just in case your hardware doesn't exhibit the same effect, I've attached the regular nsf as well. I've also attached the original ftm in case you want to try using your own exporter.

Thanks!

edit: Oh, one loop is almost exactly 1 minute btw, but can I request two and a fade out?

Uhm...I think people are still making requests even if you think that's not the case. Let me help in proving that with this request.
Confusion (C64 Style original) [3-channel N163]
Loops around 1:42

Yeah, I haven't been getting much time for myself these days I'm afraid. Found a new job and all that... But I'll try to record these today when I get back home. :)

Hey, great news on getting a new job! I've got another new song to request:

Buleizu - 3:13

Whenever you've got time, no rush.

Thanks! I'm relieved but also confused that my original, non-nsfmixed, version is the one that ended up sounding correct. I wonder what's up with all the software nsf players I tried then that made the mixing all fucked up.

This might help you wrap your head around the whole mixing problem. :)

Ah, crap. It seems my two songs got switched, including their lengths. I can just trim Taun, but would you mind rerecording Buleizu? It doesn't go through a full cycle by 2:22, so I can't just loop it to get to its full length.

Sorry.

How did that happen? ._.

Yeah I can re-record them, but not now I'm afraid. Maybe later tonight when I get back from work, or tomorrow.

Oh, don't worry about getting it done quickly. I actually don't have access to my own computer right now and have no clue when I'll be able to access it again, if ever.

I'm going through hard times in my personal life at the moment. I have neither the time to make recordings, nor access to the necessary equipment. I will unlock this thread when the situation is resolved.

While a friend and I were testing a homemade circuit involving a YMZ284 chip on the TNS-HFC3, something (we're not sure what) went wrong and the unit is now refusing to work. You can just barely hear the VRC7 and N163 even at full volume, and anything else is too quiet to be picked up. I have tested the unit on two different Famicoms, so I've ruled out the possibility of a faulty 2A03. The splash screen with the firmware information doesn't even appear when I plug in the unit.

I'll see if I can send the unit to my friend along with a Famicom so he can have a go at mending it, but it's still too early to tell exactly what's wrong or whether it can be fixed. Personally I don't think there's much hope, so don't expect any more hardware recordings anytime soon.

I can still make hardware recordings, but only from my Power Pak, which means only 2A03 tunes will be hardware-accurate.
