I'm gonna have to bow out of this I've got university auditions right around the corner and need to get rid of any distractions and focus. Here's what I had completed so far, it's an attempt at a lightly reharmonized cover of the amazon level from Duck Tales. I only really completed the first 3 frames, the rest are just placeholders and drafts. I had planned on turning it into a jazz standard kind of format, with the second time around being an improvised solo and taking things from there.

Anyway, I'll be able to join this series again around August. Until then, looking forward to listening to and voting on all the great entries to come.

i did a few covers of four songs from a gbc game but i have two problems

1) i need to get rid of one of the songs but they are all so awesome

2) i still need to fill the last square 2 channel with something

1) I guess you can submit one for exhibition only, i.e. no judging will be done for it but it'll still be part of the archive when the contest ends. If you do so, submit it as a separate FTM.

2) Not really a problem per se (I won't reject your entry on that basis), but it might get you in trouble come voting time, especially for technique.

gyms, that sounds so good! I predicted/hoped that someone would enter a Ducktales tune (other than The Moon lol) and I love your take on the theme! Excellent chords! It's a real shame that you won't have it finished for the deadline though. Good luck on the auditions in the meantime!

Also, I'm almost done on my entry!

Working on my entry. I'm having the opposite problem to Ares here... I need way more channels, heh. Maybe just one, because Triangle is crap for imitating vocals (my entry might be fairly crap because of the inaudible triangle vocals (I need all four squares for imitating guitar, heh)

Oh well. You can just turn off the Triangle if you really want.

Augh, this could so easily be avoided if the DPCM didn't quieten the Triangle and Noise. Eh whatever. I'm having fun remaking one of my favourite songs of all time so I'm happy.

Okay! We're halfway through the month, and so the submission period officially begins! I will be taking entries until May 22 at midnight, Eastern time (or, in other words, until May 21 ends). :)

Senaculum sucks and I didn't get notified when you sent it to me. :)

Only a few days left and I haven't received that many entries... What's happening?!

I hope it's only due to everyone sitting on their entry until the last moment.
