I dunno whether this has been requested before. Using NSF Importer, I imported a song from Mega Man 3 so I can extract the instruments only. Problem is, I have to type out every little thing as a macro. As much "fun" as that is, I was thinking it'd be significantly faster if you could just select the rows of a particular column, click copy, and paste into the envelope field of a new instrument.

This would also be useful if you for instance used the volume column a bunch, then decided that you'd rather put your volume stuff in an instrument. Select, copy, paste.

Another related idea I had in mind: NSF Importer interprets pitch envelopes (such as wide vibrato and portamento) as a jumble of notes and P effects. I was thinking of a special copy mode which automatically combines both into a pitch macro, with the first selected note as starting pitch.

example:
