I wouldn't be surprised at all if most people are simply waiting to the very last minute to submit :P
Pretty much. I'm usually on the fence with a lot of things in my compositions, so I figure why not use the extra time? jrlepage, I'm sure you'll get most submissions before the due date. You gotta figure the people who held out for the extension are the planning, methodical, obsessive(in my case at least) types, so it's not too surprising for them to hold out until they're completely satisfied(or close as possible) with their submissions.
I'm still missing entries from the following people who said they would enter:
ArchJ
CodeLimit
gyms
Mex
psn
skinnyhead2000
SriK
TechEmporium
If you DID send your entry and I didn't receive it, I do apologise. Do let me know so I can rectify the situation!
I know gyms and Mex are working on something, and also that psn did complete his entry and is waiting for his laptop back. That leaves five potential entrants I haven't heard from.
And of course if you didn't sign up and you still want to participate, you're welcome to do so before tomorrow 11:59 PM!
Alright, I should have done this sooner but I would keep debating on and on about whether I should opt out or not. Unfortunately, I don't have the creativity right now to make something in classical, original-wise. I don't even think my usual last-minute panic mode would even produce me something good enough to enter. As bad as it sounds, ever since I started using DPCM, I couldn't switch back to one main channel for percussion. Sorry about such a late response, but I promise to enter the 2A03 original demo compo for SURE, and maybe even MMC5 and VRC6. I might even try covers. Hope you can forgive me for this.
