Original request thread is a little messed up... so I'm reposting here.

This first one may be a little silly, but...
1.) I'd really appreciate the ability to be able to use Gxx to stall a note farther than just one row (similar to Sxx). As it is now, if xx > speed then xx = speed. Example attached.

2.) I think it'd be handy if Ctrl+A would select the column you're in first, and then the whole channel.... or maybe something like Ctrl+Shift+Click to selectively highlight individual columns.

3.) In the instrument editor, it's possible to combine a loop and a release if the loop comes first. Any chance we could have the ability to add a loop after a release as well?

4.) A special loop command (like Uxx or something) where U00 sets the loop start point and Uxx sets the end point and number of times to loop.

#2 I would really appreciate, or like danoct suggested it's easy once you can get to row 00 on the channel, but getting to row 00 is something that I wish had its own key. (sometimes I start playback and stop it quickly to get to the top of the pattern, but this is a workaround).

I like to keep my eyes on what it is I'm doing. When I'm in my groove, having to scroll breaks up my focus.
I wouldn't mind if it was assigned to it's own key (CTRL+D or something), or even just a toggle in the config that switches CTRL+A between the current select all and something like this. I could easily see an outright swap annoying people who like the way it works now.

Hooray! How many other undocumented key commands are there?

Weird. Pressing Home once will bring you to the note column in the leftmost (square 1) channel. Pressing Home a second time while in that particular column will bring you to the top of the frame... but End will always send you to the bottom of the frame unconditionally (except of course for the condition where you're already at the bottom :D).

So... the Home key works horizontally unless it has no other option or you hold Ctrl, and the End key only works vertically even if you threaten its family. :P

Not exactly mind-bending, but I thought the behavior was a bit strange/unintuitive.

That's how it works in windows... these are mostly windows-based things. The home button goes to the beginning of the current line and the end button goes... wait this shouldn't be just the end of the line... gonna check in something like notepad instead of forum senaculum.

Wow, just the current line. I'm surprised it changes lines in famitracker first (I'm taking each channel as a vertical text line) and then goes to the beginning...

Home used to bring the cursor straight to the top row, until its two-step behaviour was requested a few months (more than a year in fact) ago. The same feature for End was never requested, hence the different behaviour.

Feel free to suggest it though.

Nope, I think I'm satisfied with the back-story.
Honestly, by the look of things, jsr has quite a bit on his plate already. I kind of felt bad even putting this up.

I think an F11 fullscreen function would be nice, especially if you have a tiny screen.

Maybe the using f11 for fullscreen could be toggled, I have a massive screen and am usually doing multiple things at once and my mouse is pretty close to the function keys on my keyboard... I end up pressing f11 alot accidentally, meaning the ability to disable it would be nice...

What if it were tied to something harder to do accidentally, like good ol' Alt+Enter?

You may just be suggesting it needs a keyboard shortcut, but if you don't know you can go to the View menu and turn off Control Panel. Or press Alt, V, C.

Yeah, I know... but it would be nice to remove the window border (I do that anyway in Lubuntu) and your operating system's toolbars.
