In the frame editor, as I am aware, you can only use the plus and minus buttons to increase and decrease the value for the pattern numbers (as seen on fig. 1 attached to post - also note that caption is placed on said plus and minus buttons for clarification).
I have always thought it be easier to just type the values in by hand, but that's my style.
Why not set it up to both use the plus and minus buttons AND enable the typing in of values for the frame editor? This would increase ease of use quite well imho. (^-^ )

I have one Famitracker conversion request: Convert TXT to FTM without samples, using the ''Sega Music Dump Converter'' (VGM2TXT) format, The VGM2TXT program is made by one of the users at ''Project 2612 Forums''? for use with the SDLBASIC interpeter program
I have to say, that code is pretty ugly. Anyway, what you want is basically something that you can use to convert Sega music into NES music? Only the first half of the converter has already been programmed?
I just want this clarified before adding it to the list.
You are saying it is halfway coded? Jeez, Maybe the forum uploader sucks or something!
And note that I didn't create the code, It is not mine.
EDIT: Does not look halfway coded, I just redownloaded it here and it works fine on SDLBasic (BTW: GHZ.VGM equals my dump of Sonic 1's Green Hill Zone generated by the MEKA Sega emulator)
First, for now there is no features in FamiTracker which is beyond real hardware capabilites.
Second, even if this feature would be added, it will work in tracker only. There is not much sense to use FamiTracker if you want WAV output only.
Speaking about stereo. Fixed panning does not require changes in emulation code and could be added easily, but adding new hardware feature will require changes in emulation code.
I only wonder, why you want HW sweep anyway? I found it quite useless, software slides are good enough. 2A03 was designed at time when nobody thought about music on consoles seriously, and frame-based regs update was not common technique for sound. This is the reason why developers added HW sweep in 2A03 and the reason why they didn't added it in later sound extensions.
I simply thought, whether there will be it useful... I see, that is not present. Well and all right.
P.S. It is a pity only, that in FamiTracker it is impossible to enter module N106 because of features of the module...
