Sounds like a dream! Can't wait to see it. You're on the right track implementing the easy chips first, that's why I've been suggesting MMC5... I'll keep it on the list until the next version is released though.
Anyway, I meant things that are on the list that have been added/fixed in 0.2.9... those shouldn't be on the list any more.
I tested it out yesterday -- well sort of. Actually I just completed a Super Mario 64 cover I had lying around, waiting for MMC5 to be added so I could do the last musical line :D so I haven't tested MMC5 extensively. Seems to work perfectly though.
REQUEST:
Stereo panning of channels like in NSF Live
EXTENDED REQUEST:
The ability to pan each DPCM-assigned note to a certain position in the stereo field, similar to how you can set pitch for each in the DPCM editor. A little slider could be given under the pitch pulldown from 100% Left - Center - 100% Right.
Of course, this would have no bearing on the nsf and other various format exports, but it would make the WAV export function so much more robust!
The DPCM panning could be used to give a drum track a much wider sound, for example.
That's already in the list ever since we heard MMC5 was going to be implemented.
I wonder how difficult it would be to fix. PPMCK lets you use at least 5 expansion chips simultaneously. I guess it depends on how jsr has written the nsf driver and how it allocates memory on the cart...
