Open the instrument editor, click on the sequence list (instrument settings subwindow), so one of them is selected, then change focus to some other program (or make other program, such as a messanger, to change focus at this moment), then return back to FamiTracker - items of the list are invisible now, and only shows again if you click them.

Windows XP.

You have to switch focus to something that takes full screen, hiding FamiTracker window.

The problem is stable.

Yeah I think this bug doesn't exist in Windows vista and later, it has to do with the way XP draws graphics. I'll see if I can remove it.
