If only PAL were an option with VRC7, it would be ideal for 125bpm...

Though you can actually set the engine speed to 50Hz without affecting the PAL bit, Dendy style, keeping the ability to export the NSF with VRC7.

@gyms: awh man, i had no idea. i see what you mean about it skipping. thanks for fixing that! also it seems the samples still stay in beat so it's all good.

@rainwarrior: not too sure what that means :P. i need to research my NES stuff a little more i think.

What I mean is you can go to the menu: Tracker > Engine Speed > Custom

Set it to 50hz, and then 125bpm will work perfectly without the skipped frames gyms mentioned.

Normally I'd suggest just choosing PAL for this, but you have to use NTSC to use expansion chips in an NSF. The framerate is still customizable though; even though it wouldn't be on real hardware.

ahh right, i see. don't think i'd ever get round to playing it on hardware anyways, so i guess this is the way to do it. thanks for pointing that out!
