So I took a break from covering when summer started, but now I have two songs to show! Alien Power was way easier than I thought it would be.

Pretty awesome! Alien Power doesn't sound as good as I thought it would with this expansion, but still pretty good none the less.

My thoughts on Alien Power:

Use the sawtooth for the bass part. That channel can reach the notes in the bass register, or it has lower pitch than the other channels kind of how the triangle channel does. Other than that, you've nailed it.

Here is my version of Alien Power, I hope you don't mind. I used yours and the original both as a reference. I used my own style in specific places, so it's pretty much a refined version of your cover, plus, I had been meaning to cover this for quite sometime anyway. If you prefer this version, feel free to use it.

Aha! That sounds great! I somehow had it in my head to keep all the sounds that are in one channel in the same channel through the entire song. The echoes part in the beginning is in the channel with the most prominent bass part in the end. I kinda liked that 'crunch' sound I had in the pulse channel, but this sounds much better. Updated the OP with a further adaptation between our covers.

All right, now it sounds nice. I know what you mean by having all sounds from a channel stay that way during transition. Like Channel 1 had that long looped melody followed by the heavy part at the end and etc. That was something I was thinging about alot before even starting the cover, what channels should I put what in. Everything is sounding good though so far now. Keep it up!

due yes! this is awesome that you are doing this. sor2 is one of my fav games/soundtracks ever. i'd use a dpcm snare in addition to the noise snare to give it a little more punch. other than that sounds great so far!

I thought about adding a DPCM snare, since that would make it more faithful to the original, but I kinda have this thing against the DPCM channel. I also have an ongoing self-challenge to write anything I do in FT with only a kick drum as the only sample. Plus, most of the time when a snare sample is played, the other percussion channel is playing a snare sound too.

Under Logic was a lot of fun to cover. It's kinda short, so I got it done quickly.

It's good, but I personally don't like that arp playing through the whole song.

Too Deep was a bit of a pain. It features several things that I was avoiding putting into the covers (percussive melodies, notes that sound like bongo drums, noisy melodies). But I think I got it down alright. That stupid high pitch vibrato still sounds weird to me, but I'm not sure how to get it just right.

Back from the dead! I kinda took a couple months' vacation from chiptune, but now I'm back.

Slow Moon turned out alright, I think.

The intro to Wave 131 sounds too megaman-ish to me, but I didn't do too much in the way of fixing it up. Everything else sounds fine. Both of these songs were pretty fun.

Jungle Base has a lot of subtle effects, like the faint alarm sound in the second frame. And in the final breakdown, the saw is playing a part that had I had previously ignored because it's very percussive. This time, however, I figured out how to do it, and added it in.
