Sweet!

It's still going; I just started the site to make collaboration easier (& man; was that user authentication script a pain in the ass!).

Once your big project's done, just PM me & I'll enable an account for you.

I'm glad to hear that; all members are welcome (experts included).

I'll PM the log-in credentials to you.

Guess what. My C: Failed, so, everything I worked so tediously on was for nothing. Sorry, Tech.

No worries, man. I'm still working on my side of things & I admit that it will take me some time before I can commit anything from my work.

Bumparoo.

The site has been updated; I've added downloads to FamiTracker 0.3.0 up to 0.3.7 beta, as well as ppMCK 9a ex2, MCK 0.25 with Magic Kit 2.51, DMCConv 0.05 & some MCK tutorial files.

I've also mentioned on the site's page that this project can use FamiTracker as well as ppMCK, so go ahead & use whatever tool you feel is best.

I've also just started to track the first movement of the OST & feel kind of stuck (I'll get it, though). I'm also still open for new members who want to collaborate.

I'm very sure it'll still be up in 6 weeks (albeit with hardly any progress). :P

But yeah; it'll still be up.

Sorry for the bump, but this project is still up. You can refer to the OP for the site I've set up; feel free to volunteer if you like (& those who already volunteered are free to opt out or, if they forgot their log-ins, can PM me for them).

I've also set up HCS' home-made forum on my test rig site; feel free to communicate through it.

Major-league, epic-ass, you're-gonna-call-me-a-jackass-douche-bag-for-doing-this bump.

Due to lack of interest & the loss of my former test rig site, I'm going to try & revive this project if it's worth anything to you guys.

I've reopened the project under a different host:

http://techemporium.floorchan.org/nesferatu/

I've also implemented PunBB & added a dedicated area to this project:

http://techemporium.floorchan.org/forum/

Now, instructions for joining the project will be address to those who join my forum & send me a PM. If those who joined the project still have their assigned passwords, you can also join the forum & blast me a PM with the steps on how to change it. The first page of this thread will be edited to reflect the site change.

I'm still interested (I think about it now and then), but my personal project has been taking longer than expected. I won't be able to join until sometime in November probably.

Well, as long as those who wanted in from the beginning are still interested, this project won't be abandoned. Again, newcomers are welcome to join; all previously-interested members are free to remain as part of it or opt out.

Let's do this.

I am willing to do ~10 minutes of content for this over the next two months. Just tell me the required chipset (I'm assuming either 2A03 or VRC6), and give me start and end times of the segment(s) you think I should do.

Thanks, man. I've already upgraded your youser group & granted you access to a special area of my forum (a common area for all participants).

I was thinking along the lines of VRC6 or even MMC5 if necessary, but the music segments, I feel, should be totally up to the participants.

http://techemporium.floorchan.org/nesferatu/nosferatu.html

Being a classical soundtrack for a silent movie, it's actually several smaller pieces that have been either covered, adapted or merged into others; finding the different segments are very easy (one such segment would be the music when Hutter enters Count Orlok's castle after leaving the phantom coach, another would be the point when Hutter jumps onto the coach, another would be as soon as Hutter crosses the bridge into no-man's land, etc.).

I intend this to be a very open-concept project; all participants are welcome & are more than able to sign up for this. Getting in will give you some privileges on my test rig's forum & even the ability to modify stuff on the server.

Now that we finally have rainwarrior on board, all who are interested & have good ability with FamiTracker (or any other system like ppMCK) can join the forum on this site:

http://techemporium.floorchan.org/nesferatu/

If you don't use your FamiTracker user name, you can always send me a PM & tell me that you're interested in working on the project.

Sorry for the bump, but thank Raptor Jesus for backup plans...

Since my forum is down for some odd reason, I've decided to send PMs to the regulars who initially volunteered for this project, asking if they're still in on this & instructing how to get account access.

EDIT: My forum is still down, but those who currently have access to a project account will notice some significant changes now (positive changes with more to follow).
