Make the speed, tempo, row, frame and step numbers avaliable to be put into hex.

How is it normal that when you play to high of a note the pitch modulation goes crazy but if you play a lower note it doesn't really play anything? Just curious. Composers that used modulation in their instruments didn't have that problem.
The pitch is selected by an integer representing the frequency length, and the pitches in the scale are distributed logarithmically rather than linearly, meaning the bass numbers are bigger and farther apart and the treble numbers are smaller and closer together.
So... adding +1 pitch to a very small number (high pitch) makes a very noticeable difference, but adding +1 to a large number (low pitch) does not.
That's why generally I always use 4xx instead of an instrument with a pitch macro.
Something I've been wanting for a while now: an option the tracker's context menu to expand (x2) or minimise (/2) selection and/or whole channel pattern.
Unless it's been there the whole time and I'm a herp derp for somehow missing it.

So, like, ctrl+a would highlight only half a frame at a time or something? I could go for that.
Are you talking about a feature like shrink/expand in goattracker? Like push the button and it will expand the pattern to twice the length, spacing what was in every row so it is now 2 rows apart? Or deleting every other row, pulling each 2nd row together so that pattern is half as long?

Yes, shink and expand is what I meant. Something similar exists in other trackers such as MOD2PSG2, MilkyTracker and goattracker as well.

Holy shit that's much better. I would love this feature.

Damn, that would really come in handy with scaling a song up to a higher BPM and frame size or scaling a song down with lossless compression. I'd really like to see this implemented.
In VGM Music Maker, whenever you lay a note down, all channels in the same row play (assuming other channels have a note down). I've noticed certain things become less of a hassle, like making choir/harmonics and such. If it's possible, I'd definately like to see something like that implimented into Famitracker via toggle box or something.
Yeah, I'm always pressing Up, Ctrl+Enter to hear what I just put down.
I think I'll request something. When I click on the checkbox to use a macro effect I wish it would also select that macro. I can't tell you the number of times I've clicked check on arpeggio and then made a volume envelope by accident. (I know it's better practice to just click arpeggio and type it in and get the auto-check, but my mind always sees the checkbox and wants to turn it on first.)
