I think you're failing to notice that not many of us give a shit about this so-called error, and I for one would rather you stop being an attention whore and tell us what the "problem" is.

Rational tempo (Using repeating sets of Fxx commands) has never been used in any Capcom song (as far as I know). It was only recently discovered, yes?

Magnet Man has F07 F06 F06 F06 and so on.

The problem lies in Frames 07-08, where the lower voice (harmony) uses V02 and the upper voice (lead) doesn't use V02.

ESPECIALLY SINCE NO MEGA MAN GAME HAS EVER USED V00 AS THE UPPER VOICE AND V02 AS THE LOWER VOICE.

It is fatal, don't do that in any Mega Man-esque song! It will ruin its Mega Man style completely!

That's actually good to know; I've also noticed some funky things can happen if you use certain duty cycles at certain octaves.

good to know!

EDIT: I changed 2 things. 1: instrument 7 at the end of frame 3 I changed to 6 (sounds kinda better) and changed the v00 to v01 in 07-08. Just my edits, nothing serious.

though Mega Man 6 Mr. X stages come dangerously close to this.. the "echo" works like a second voice basically, so you could say it technically DOES do that :P

edit: and mega man IV's first wily stage

And when the answer was revealed, not a single fuck was given that day. And the world continued on in harmony, writing illegitimate Megaman music forever more.

And Nicetas, looking over the land in shame and disappoint said, "Nevermore shall your ears be blessed with my glorious creations."

Hmm, you use F to control speed per-row, but your echo effect is agnostic to these differences and ends up being an inexact echo?

/shrugs

Edit: Oh, the answer has already been revealed. I thought the end of Page 1 was end of thread. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFffffffffffffffffffff...

MM6 Mr. X: Definitely not a second voice, two channels are not parallel

and I hate ALL companies changing their composing styles in Gameboy games ffffff (hence the 1 2 duty envelope and all that stuff)
