It definetely sounds good as a chiptune. I can't say I like the style of the song myself, but that's just my taste - there's nothing wrong with the music.

What you may need to do is use Z80 in the DPCM for your kick drum & use an alternating Z80 & Z7F for your clap, providing that you find a suitable sample for it.
Using alternating Z80 & Z7F (or Z00 & ZFF) will produce a click when the DPCM sample is played (which can be useful if you're using a snare drum sample, too).

You didn't really do it right; use Z80 & Z7F on alternating DPCM notes to create a pop at each sample's beat. This said, it will play around with your triangle. I know that nicetas_c & others have used different methods to create pops on their notes, but I don't remember what effects they used (I think it was a hardware sweeping effect).

Affection is a finished tune. (would still like other constructive criticism on this one)
As for VRC6, I'm staying away from expansions for the moment. You're free to do whatever with that one though. I was only really trying the bottom example of the Axy wiki. I'm not even gonna name it.
I do wanna somehow end it on em (III in CM), but I can't figure out how to get there. I failed at a good deceptive V-VI progression between frame 11 and 12, can't seem to make it work.
[edit:]
I think that E-2 in the tri is the resonant frequency in my headphones hahaha
Loud that is
