I wonder if that was Blargg's Java chiptune player that you implemented.

I never had any luck using it, for some odd reason (but I don't know if he released any new player that could support different expansion chips; the last version available on his site had no expansion chip support for NSFs).

In any case, if it's easier to implement & customize, go for it! You're on a roll with that site.

The interface was simplyfied and the player has a skin. A bit ugly, but better than nothing.

Well, I'm not as concerned about the looks of it as I am about the ability to play or stop a song through the interface.

Perhaps if you assign the Power & Reset buttons as the Play & Stop buttons for the player...

That's exactly what I should add.
But i remove the buttons because the JButtons class doesn't support arbitrary position, and doesn't supports add texture. That would leave the skin a little ugly.

I'm trying to find an alternative way to do it. Thanks!.

Perhaps if you use the image as a background for a table (even using CSS) & use the JButtons class for each cell. That way, you can overlap the table on the image & position each JButton according to the image's button positions.

Play/Pause & Stop buttons done.

And i added the detail that the LED on the NES is turned on and off depending on whether a song is playing or not.

Nice! You even got the power light to turn on.

Sadly, though, I'm still struggling with trying to rewrite that script you used to use for FlashNSF. But this is a very good mod you did for blargg's player.
