Where's Hasan Baba when you need him? (Kidding.)

But yeah; we really didn't need a third cover of this song.

Avast Your Ass!
A lot of you should know this one already.

Final Fantasy VII - Victory Fanfare
It took me a while to get used to 0.3.6's new-style VRC7, so this is the result. :3

Started doing a VRC7 Compilation, this is what I've achieved in the past 6 hours.

VRC7Mix#1 - Final Fantasy 8 - Ride On
Missing Timpani, so it does sound a little bare in the intro. If anyone wants to add to this, feel free to do so.

VRC7Mix#2 - PSP Boot-up Sound

VRC7Mix#3 - Sonic Advance 3 - Route 99 Act 1
-Incomplete

More to come.
----------------------------
EDIT
And another song, which I had forgotten about. :I

FF7 - Electric de Chocobo

Bringing the thread back with a few new ones. :D

Used 0.3.8beta3 for some of these.

SFM-sadness (VRC7)

This is a cover of a song I created as a game-over theme for a game I'm working on. (The game's site)
In short, the original is better.

FF7WhoAreYou (MMC5)

A cover of that creepy song from Final Fantasy VII. Enough said... >_>

saihate (VRC6) Work in progress

A cover of a vocaloid song. Trying to do this one entirely by ear... again.

-----

In other news, trying to make a nice waveform in N163 is a pain in my ass. xD

Nearly two years of inactivity, surprised you could still pump something like this out.

Anyways, your N163 instruments sound better than most people's N163 instruments around here, but look really dirty. The bending of the top of the pulse wave to make a piano didn't exactly work, and is unnecessary, since it sounds nice as a pulse, and it just made it sound a little weaker. The "toot" wasn't exactly thorough in your change from a triangle wave, and, in fact, the change was minimal.

Notation sounds fine to me, but I don't remember the original, and can't therefore look for and listen to it. Also, I don't care what the original is, because to me, it just sounds like something straight out of Rocketslime.

ooh you gave me an idea maybe I'll mull over my creative block by covering songs from rocketslime

I often use FamiTracker nowadays when I'm bored, or not working. Most of my compositions / arrangements are often made in Cubase, lol.
I'll attach another couple of cover attempts.

- Skullgirls / "The Skullgirl" (VS Bloody Marie)
- RPG Maker VX Ace / Various Tracks (Field 3 =Done=, Scene 6 =Not Done=, Town 1 =Not Done=)

I'm pretty terrible at making N163 instruments, so I just use preset waveforms and mess around with them to make them sound a little gritty. :D

Ah right, I was kinda vague, lol...
It's Thomas the Tank Engine - Original Theme Song (1980's Version)

Looking forward to it :D

I feel like getting rid of that 8th Namco channel on the skullgirls song could make it sound a bit less 'fuzzy'. Its not doing anything anyways.
