Wow... It seems like the only guys who aren't trying to shred kinkinkijkin's hopes are nicetas_c, JSR, danooct1 & I.
And what I don't get is how kinkinkijkin got more of a wrap for his first test-run while my first original track was also very sub-par. Hell; see how sub-par my first original track is, even when compared to my second original:
THAT is horrid, not a simple test-run of different effects by a beginner who most likely has little background in electronics, let alone the inner-workings of the NES' CPU.
That said, even though I'm not much of a fan of this FamiTracker test-run, it's still worth using as a basis for learning the different effects that the tracker has to offer. Here's some pages that you should have a look at:
But most of all, download the binary package of FamiTracker 0.3.0, extract the file named FamiTracker.chm & open it; it's the Help file for FamiTracker, which lists all the effects that FamiTracker 0.3.0 has to offer. With a little practice, it's quite easy to master the use of these effects, but you still need to do a bit more work.

Technology: the one thing that's hated & cursed at by all engineers, technologists, scientists & technicians!
I've never played action 52, I haven't played past the start of a bunch of levels on 4 mega man games and all 3 mega man X games, and that's about all I play on NES other than some hacks of games.
My actual only problems are that I'm bad at composing and I know only somewhere around what half of the effects do.
I'm not harping on you by any means. I know you're a beginner. I started out like that, too.
However, learning how to create something on trackers in general is kind of hard to get used to. I like that you have the balls to put your stuff forward, and also admire that. It's good to get feedback from your work, whether positive or negative - I think.
Be experimental, but also take my advice on this (or leave it if you want). My intention was never to bite anyone's head off by any means. I have always given everything a fair shot, but I mess up from time to time.

You now process Dracula's Rib. Good luck processing it...

You don't even need to play the game when you have resources.
Also, there are 6 Megaman releases in NES or 7 if you also count Rockboard.
The whole Megaman X series is never on NES, and there are all 8 releases (excluding collection releases, remakes etc.) from SNES to PSX and then PS2.
Our point is that, if you want to achieve your goal, kinkinkijkin, you have to do some work. And by work, if we're talking about FamiTracker, we're talking about doing research; look for the works of other people (even if they're MIDI files, MP3s, WAV files or even other peoples' projects,) look for music notation or guitar tabs (if you're able to find & read them,) look for any resources regarding the tracker, etc.
That's how I've done it (& I've improved greatly from the time I first started to track, even though I still haven't mastered all there is to master in FamiTracker).
