Flashman snare and Quickman snare as proven by MM2 disassembly and NSF importer.

Tssf did a good oversight, although the widely known 4 0 10 6 is indeed easier to use.

I put together some instruments I've used in the past that somehow involve changing the duty settings.

Sorry, I didn't export the FTIs because I don't have names for them.

@com63 - If you like duty cycle changing instruments, then you may like Dave Warhol's instruments:

Nice! I don't use duty cycle changing instruments that often any more... Usually just changing duty every step on the phrase screen. I really need to start using these kinds of instruments more, along with arpeggio instruments.

Complete timpani set from A-1 to A-3 taking advantage of bankswitching in the latest beta, four of which are ripped from FCM8 cover #13 and the rest of which are converted back and forth using RJDMC and Goldwave. May or may not work in current release (0.3.7), use at your own risk. I am not responsible for any consequences upon losing unsaved FTM data.

This is probably the largest FTI ever made, but here have an FTM instead for obvious reasons.

(Although there are ways to import such huge collections of DPCM samples in existing builds, as seen in one of Mex's FTMs below, I never got around learning that)

Cool. heh. I tuned some timpani this morning. Not so fun when one of them has a tear in the skin an done doesn't have a working note indicator. :/

I think you have to use an old version of FT (the one that had those snazzy instrument macros and the old icons), import samples until the limit is reached, export FTI, repeat. Then, import FTIs using the same old version, save FTM, load with latest FT.

Edit:
These timpani FTMs definitely don't work with 0.3.7.

This is as close as I could get an FDS wave to match a 2A03 triangle. It's a pretty good approximation, but it has limits and its seams start to show when you go too high.

I just "made" (more like stole the waveform from Mex) a slap bass instrument for N106 if anyone's interested. Probably not the first but EH.

I don't stay up late anymore because I end up making things with actual worth. Like these drums. First of their kind in FT, as I know so far!

NOTE: Yes, this goes in the instrument thread, it's a new instrument, not a doodle, I worked for about an hour on these drums.
