I simply love how the Sunsoft composers took the Gameboy and made it sound like a mix between their early and their later soundtracks on the nes. A very triangle-like waveform was used in the original so it translated pretty well.
I made this with Audacity in about 2 hours.
Edit: Also threw together a Return of the Joker style version.
