You can use note releases instead of note halts so it sounds more "smooth" when cutting a note off... or not (Maybe a fade-out?).It depends on what you do with them. c:
Everything you posted is decent up to date. I just think you suffer from lack of volume control in all of them.
I agree. A little more dynamics in your note's velocity would sounds great. Overall, not bad. I love your remixes, it seems like I finish listening to one of my favorite songs, and when I check soundcloud or these forums, I see the same songs, remixed in one of my favorite formats of music.
Now for the nitpicking criticism.
I don't really like the volume, as said by fezuke. Somethings need to be louder than others. Also, like in frame 05, I really can't stand notes that high unless they are at 50% - Or sometimes at 25% - modulation. At a 12.5, it can just be unbearable for me. Sometimes. You didn't do too badly here. I also feel you underutilized the second Pulse channel after frame 03. It could be utilized for, maybe some echo, maybe some harmonization, maybe some deeper bass, after all, the original had a lot of bass. The drum hits sound a bit too much like muffled kicks, due mainly to your DPCM samples.
That's all I could come up with. When I have more time, I'll submit an edit. I barely had the time to write this.
Anyway, all in all, pretty good, but could use a bit of improvement.
