Well, I wasn't expecting VRC7, I was expecting square waves and whatnot, and then after that I was surprised you got such a close approximation of the sound (and then even more surprised it took so few instruments).

In retrospect the instrumentation of the original was fairly simple wasn't it.

Wow... Just... Wow. That was the most accurate nes cover of anything I've ever heard! That VRC7 really does the trick.

Drax! I knew the style with the sines and everything rang a bell! I saw t he name Digerati in the YouTube comments for that video, I had no idea there was a connection between Drax and that name. :o

... If only there was an ASM library to embed NSFs & FTMs into PE executables.

He'd probably just tell you it's accurate because you had the original XM file to work from. But did you actually do this by ear?

Surprisingly enough I worked using the video. I only found out about the module after I was done!
