it's actually that n64 audio emulation is slightly slow. the same problem exists in USF rips. but when you're nes tracking, it's very difficult to get the tempo identical anyway.

I actually use the best N64 emulator out there. With the best sound plugin. Without volume control on that plugin, I would never have gotten the change right.

Well, you've gotten unlucky, nicetas. Me, a baby compared to you, just turned ALL of these covers of yours to somewhere around 99% accuracy. You were close on them, but I'm closer.

ALL? Then go and fix Prism Plants 1 to see how you are not restricted to one game.

Also, you have been lucky to have obtained a library of SM64DS MIDI files. Have you ever tried to redo Prismatic from Mega Man Zero Collection or Phazon Mines from Metroid Prime Pinball?

You seem to be extremely cocky for someone who did not create the FTM in the first place, but merely edited it.

I challenge you to do some of the things nicetas has done, like recreate the entire Super Mario Bros or Metroid OST to within 99% accuracy. How about Megaman 2? That game's soundtrack shouldn't be too hard for your supreme talent.

How about something easier: Megaman 1 Fireman, Elecman, Iceman, Bombman, Wily 1 and All Clear to see whether you have enough potential to complete my unfinished soundtrack.

Here are three Michael Jackson songs I did which are supposed to sound like the Sega Genesis game, Smooth Criminal, Billie Jean, and Bad.

It is not very polite to hijack into other people's threads like this.

All music from Super Mario 64 DS are identical of those in Super Mario 64 except there are some new ones. If you don't believe it, then compile a USF2MIDI yourself and look at the results.

Now about the NTSC/PAL thingy: The tempo won't change, only the engine speed and some other things will change.

Engine speed determines how fast EVERYTHING is played. Including sound, glitches, graphics, and memory write.

I've never played kirby squak squad.

And, fixed the SM64 secret slide tune. Again.
