no matter how hard i try to, this thread is not going to be noticed anymore
parity from katawa shoujo.
ftm for better note releases, but worse performance on higher notes.
nsf for note cuts instead of releases (nsf export still needs some improvement), but better sounding and good pitch overall.

Oh I notice the thread, and I very much like what's in it. Sorry for not taking the time to reply often, but do keep 'em coming!
This last FTM I'm enjoying quite a lot!

Protip: I find enabling all 8 channels actually sounds less horrible, even on hardware. That's because using only 7 actually pushes the hiss up to about 17 kHz, which is still barely audible. 15 kHz is still very unnerving, but less so than 17 kHz.
Nice tune! My only gripe is the chord at the beginning of frame 0xB. The G#4 in the Namco 4 channel should be a F#4 (at least musically it makes more sense, I don't remember if the original has that mistake in it). Otherwise I love it! :)
EDIT - Found another issue: there's a memory conflict between instruments 00 and 05 (both of them are trying to read from memory position 0).

i get used to this 15khz hiss in 8 channels, but it's louder than it is in 7 channels. sometimes, if there's a highpitched lead on namco with 8 channels, my ears just hurt.
i dont really know which chord has a mistake on it, but im pretty sure that's what is in the original.
also thanks for informing me about memory positioning. i dont usually forget about it, but now i just did. huh. thank you.
