haha, that's the most spiteful sounding thing. if the theme was 'spite', this would be perfect. i imagine:

teacher: "what are you doing just fiddling around there, have you practiced your scales yet today?"

@fluidvolt: i really love this. the piece evokes a feeling of torment...i can imagine the deafening tick-tock of a clock as time mockingly trudges along. very cool, ambient sound you have going on


made another one. this one also conveys a whimsical kind of boredom—something that'd fit a scene in a comedy or something. if i'm doing it wrong and i'm not supposed to do this kind of scene music, let me know.

also, how many pieces are we allowed to make per theme? is there even a limit?

no limit, go nuts

at the end of each week i'll archive everything in the initial post.

i'm also thinking of doing some kind of kudos system. each member has one vote to give to thier favorite entry, which will be next to the archived results. you'll be able to tell who made the more favorable entries each week at a glance.

@Fezuke: sweet select level type music, it gets me pumped rather than bored. I'd love to hear this extended with another section or two.

okay, here's a serious entry. tried to convey that kind of extremely annoying boredom. the kind where you're a kid and your parents make you wait in places you really don't want to be.
